Adam Ierymenko of the GreyThumb.Blog made an interesting post on Rotifers. Rotifers are small organisms living in fresh water lakes. Rotifers are asexual, but they have a strange ability that may be seen as a substitute for recombination—they can steal genetic material from other living organisms, such fungi, bacteria, and plants.
